Minttu Hellstén is a new emerging name in dark and deeply soulful art pop. Minttu’s music is a rare combination of organic and synthetic worlds that speaks to the depths of the mind, where deep bass meets honest sensitivity. Minttu, born in the middle of the fields of Elimäki, whose road has taken her to eastern Helsinki, focuses on the strong creation of worlds and moods. Her music has been described as visual, cathartic, and original, a kind that embraces its listeners. Hellstén’s songs are uniquely produced to take place in a dark-toned electronic sonic landscape created in co-operation with Tomi Hyyppä. Hyyppä is remembered from the internationally acclaimed electro pop duo Villa Nah. Minttu Hellstén released her debut album, Hiipivä, pimeä hiljaisuus on 12th of April 2024.
